This a personal work... I want to be alone with my feelings and my thoughts but I feel forgotten inside. Sometimes my actions to others show that I don't want to have feelings for them, because it always bring much suffer. Then, people tried comfort me with words...but words cannot love! Maybe later I talk about this in my blog!
♠Solitary Ground - Epica
Living at different places Evading into various spaces My compass has broken I'm losing the way An ongoing madness has led me astray
My past breathes down my neck And it seems now that all I can do is Go back to beginnings when all lay ahead A fading illusion now plagues me instead
In me there's still a place that fulfils me A sanctity here that I call home I run to when winter descends If I try, can I find solid ground?
I follow elusive paths Oh, it seems they've been written in stone And the door to a new life is closing so fast Burning the bridges will not bring me back
In me there's still a place that fulfils me A sanctity here that I call home I run to when winter descends If I try, can I find solid ground?

I know that in me there's still a place that fulfils me A sanctity here that I call home I run to when winter descends If I try, can I find solid ground? Or am I just wasting time?
First, I just want to say wow. Your work is exceptionally good. I like this image because of the contrast. You have dark tones in the field and the sky, yet her skin is so pale. The colors are rich and muted, but it is not quite monochrome.
As for the details... there is lots of it, and all of it is good. I like how the foreground grass bends towards her, adding focus on the figure. The way the light softens around her also drives the focus home.
The one thing I am not 100% certain about is the focal point.
The way I interpret it right now is the earth and sky are the important elements. Maybe it is a battle of two extremes. Light and darkness. A dichotomy of the soul.
In that regard it works very well.
If the girl is the focal point, one thing I might suggest is scrolling the image up in your browser to crop some of the sky out, and notice how the figure becomes much more prominent. When her head gets pushed into the upper third, she dominates the image.
Overall, awesome stuff. Especially since Epica is the subject matter. You deserve a star for that alone!
Oh my goodness, this is lovely and so amazing! Will you give me the honor of using this for a cover for a novel which I'm hoping to become published. Please?
The amount of detail is amazing, The hills, clouds, grass *ooh, is that an electrical thingy?* even the 'cheetah skin' streak at the front of her hair is beautifully captured xxx
Omg, I only saw your comment now Thank you so much, I'm very happy that you like my work Can you show me your wall then? I never saw this before on a wall, I hope it make your wall very pretty!
